One of the country’s oldest school buildings, which housed one of our oldest schools—Bergen School—which existed for five hundred years, established in the mid 1100s. This school later on became the Latin School. This school still exists, called Bergen Cathedral School, only one block away on the opposite side of the Cathedral.
Ludvig Holberg attended this school while it was still located in the museum’s Latin School Building.
The museum is closed for rehabilitation work in 2017.
